Woodlake resident George who took these photographs writes: "I think there now are at least three cormorants around our lake. I took a number of photos of two seeming to have a discussion? It's not their mating season, as I understand, so I'm not sure of the meaning of the posturing. Both did some wings slightly open thing while facing the other. The one with the larger, more orange bill, would hold it's bill open and I could see the skin at the top of it's neck vibrate at a sub second rate but couldn't hear any noise. I was perhaps 8 to 10 feet away. I attach two images and show below the one with them facing each other, about 2 feet apart."
