2014 Pool Season, Card Activation, and Rules

It’s time for the annual pool reminders and updates.  This year’s pool season is May 17 thru September 28. Pool hours are 9 am to 8 pm. Adult lap swimming prior to pool opening is available upon request.

Individuals in the pool area after hours or who violate pool rules are subject to loss of pool privileges and/or prosecution. If you observe violations of pool rules, unauthorized persons (e.g., persons entering without a pool card), or inappropriate or suspicious activity, please contact our new pool contractor, Still Waters Pool Management at 919-321-0220 (this number is posted by the emergency telephone at the pool) and send an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. Pool Cards:

Please fill out the enclosed pool card verification form and send it to CAS by mail, fax, or email. If you elect to send in your form via email, you agree to the submission terms on the form. If you want to use the pool during the adult lap swim time (6 am – 9 am), please note such on the form. Pool cards are activated Monday through Friday from 9 am – 5 pm. If you do not return the form by May 15, your card may not be activated for the opening on May 17. Homeowners who have unpaid balances with the Association may have their pool privileges suspended if the amount exceeds $75. If your card is turned off for non-payment, you may contact Todd Petherbridge at CAS to either make arrangements for payment of the amount due or request a hearing with the Board to discuss why you believe your privileges should be reinstated.

Pool Rules:

Woodlake Pool Rules will be included with your pool sticker and are posted at the pool. Please review them with your family and guests. By using their keys (or by using the pool key), residents agree to fully comply with these rules.

Pool Stickers:

Your 2014 pool sticker will be mailed to you after we receive the completed form. If you have returned the form to CAS but have not received your sticker by opening day, your pool card should still work at the pool.

If there is an attendant at the pool, you may be required to show your pool card with the current sticker. Still Waters Pool Management and the WHOA reserve the right to not allow access to anyone without a current card and sticker.

Guest Policy:

All guests must be accompanied by a Woodlake resident who is an authorized pool user and who is responsible for the safety and behavior of their guests. A guest is any individual who does not live within the Woodlake community or who does not have an authorized pool pass. Homeowners are subject to loss of pool privileges if they assist any individual in the unauthorized use of the pool.

All activities involving 8 or more guests, including when the guests are invited by multiple Woodlake residents, must be approved and registered with the Pool Coordinator. Residents must request approval of their gathering at least 72 hours prior to the planned activity by sending an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. containing the host's name and street address, date and time of requested activity, total number of participants, and number of guests. After the request has been reviewed, the resident registering the group will receive a response and, if approved, confirmation of permission to host the activity. This confirmation should be readily accessible throughout the activity. Smaller groups are not required to register, but all guests must comply with pool rules. To ensure the use and enjoyment of the Woodlake pool by its residents, there is a maximum number of registered guests that can be accommodated. Once the maximum number is reached, additional registrations cannot be authorized for the same time period.

Food trucks:

The popular ‘Third Saturday Food Truck Event’ is back this year beginning with the May 17, pool opening day with Will and Pops at 11:30. Other planned trucks include Chirba Chirba, Fosters on the Fly and more. Check the website (www.woodlakecommunity.com) or posters by the pool for the schedule.
