The Annual WHOA meeting is scheduled for 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 22 in the Conference Room of the South Durham Public Library at 4505 South Alston Ave.

The association’s financial statement for 2013, capital spending plans for 2014, neighborhood safety, last summer’s flooding and subsequent storm water management activities, and the new Woodlake Cares volunteer program will be discussed.

In addition an election will be held for three positions on the Home Owners Association (WHOA) Board currently held by Betty Turnbull, Rick Brown, and John Cambier, all of whom have agreed to run for re-election for another three-year term. The board is also requesting neighborhood input on who should fill an existing vacancy on the board for the coming year (under the WHOA Bylaws, the Board is responsible for filling a vacancy, but is seeking member input before filling the vacancy). If you are interested in running for one of the three-year terms or in filling the existing vacancy for the coming year (May 2014 – April 2015), please send an e-mail to Todd Petherbridge at This email address is being protected from spambots.
